100% Sustainable fish fillet |
We use Alaskan Pollock in our fish fillets and fish fillet nuggets.
Alaskan Pollock is a member of the Cod family and is similar to Cod in both texture and flavour. Alaskan Pollock is great for you as it's a natural source of Omega 3 and it's great for the sea too as it's 100% Sustainable.
Around 3 million tonnes of Alaskan Pollock are caught wild each year in the North Pacific Ocean stretching from Alaska to Northern Japan.
The fish we use in our products all come from a fishery which not only meets our own 10 principles for responsible fish procurement, but also meet the internationally recognised Marine Stewardship Council standard 'for responsble use of fish stock and impact on the marine environment'. |
